MISSION

Protecting Africa's remaining Black and White rhino populations by deploying proactive, field-based anti-poaching measures, integrating advanced technologies, engaging local communities, and empowering rangers—including K9 and equestrian units—to ensure these species flourish in their natural habitats. The strategy emphasizes long-term sustainability through strategic partnerships.

VISION

A vision of rhinos and local communities living together harmoniously in a thriving, sustainable environment, free from the threat of poaching and extinction.

OBJECTIVE

To safeguard endangered rhino populations from extinction by allocating resources to specialized ranger teams, dismantling unlawful rhino horn trade operations, and ensuring the establishment of secure, sustainable habitats that enable population recovery.

COMPREHENSIVE ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS

To ensure the long-term survival of both African Black and White rhino species through the protection of their habitats from risk of endangerment, the implementation of robust anti-poaching strategies, support for community-driven conservation initiatives, and targeted efforts to increase the rhino populations by 15% each year.

SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE, ACHIEVABLE, REALISTIC, AND TIME-BOUND GOALS

Anti-Poaching:
"To decrease illegal poaching within designated areas by 50% over the next three years through enhancements in ranger equipment, expansion of aerial surveillance capabilities, and the implementation of a continuous intelligence network."

Habitat Restoration:

"Our objective is to secure and rehabilitate 100,000 hectares of essential rhinoceros habitat in order to provide sustainable grazing, reliable water resources, and safe corridors for genetic dispersal."

Community Partnership:

"To reduce human-wildlife conflict by 30% through the implementation of community-led livelihood initiatives, including sustainable agriculture and eco-tourism, which offer economic advantages to residents in rhino habitats."

Species Recovery:

"To translocate and establish three secure breeding populations of the African Black and White rhinos in protected and monitored sanctuaries within five years."

FOCUS AREAS

Protection: Ensuring ranger safety, training, and equipment (shoes, uniforms, surveillance).

Conservation: Re-wilding, habitat protection, and breeding programs.

Engagement: Educating local communities and promoting coexistence.

Advocacy: Reducing consumer demand for illegal rhino products.
